Ann's Chicken For Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 1 x frying chicken cut in pcs Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. Sauterne or possibly sherry
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 2 Tbsp. dry Italian salad dressing Mix
- 2 pkt cream cheese - (3 ounce ea) cut in cubes
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
Directions
- Wash chicken and pat dry. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in crock pot. Sprinkle with dry salad mix. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hrs.
- About 3/4 hour before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, wine, and onion in small saucepan. Cook till smooth. Pour over chicken in pot. Cover and cook for 30 min.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
