Almondigas (Meat Balls With Rice Vermicelli
Ingredients
- 1 c. chopped pork (or possibly beef)
- 1/2 c. grnd shrimp (optional)
- 1 onion finely minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. misua (rice vermicelli)
- 2 gloves garlic
- chicken (or possibly shrimp) stock pwdr
- minced spring onions
- salt and peppper to taste
Directions
- To the pork and shrimp, add in minced onion, egg and seasoning. Shape into balls. Saute/fry the garlic and onion and add in the chicken stock pwdr wtih 3 c. of water and bring to boil. Drop the meat balls one by one into the stock. When cooked add in misua (rice vermicelli) and season to taste. Serve warm.
