    • 1 can Tomato sauce
    • 2 x Cloves garlic
    • 2 Tbsp. Of chili pwdr
    • 2 x Jalapeno chili's
    • 2 c. Pinto beans

    Directions

    1. Trim the fat from the stew meat, cut into bite sized chunks and brown it.
    2. Chop the onion and the jalapeno chili. Smash the garlic. Throw every thing but the beans into a pot, add in water and simmer till meat is tender.
    3. Put the beans into a pot with water and bring to a boil, turn the heat down and simmer until the beans are done.
    4. Eat the chili and stomp the hell out of the beans.
    5. Do not confuse this with "Rebel Chile" that also has the beans stomped out of it.
    6. I brought this recipe back from Mexico and it was said to be the one which Mexico used when they taught Texans how to make chili at the Alamo. I understand which to this day Texans don't put beans in chili.
    7. TL: If it hasn't got a bean it must be Texas.
