7 Layer Bars
Easy, delicious, kid friendly! Ingredients
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter
- 1 &1/2 C graham cracker crumbs
- 2 C chocolate chips
- 2 C butterscotch chips
- 1 C coconut
- 1 C chopped walnuts
- 1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- (I sometimes add a cup of peanut butter chips and a cup of Heath Toffee chips to the ingredients above just for fun. But then you'd have to rename them 9 layer bars!)
- Delicious either way you choose to go!
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F (325 degrees for glass dish).
- Melt one stick of butter in oven in a 9x13 pan.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter evenly.
- Add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut and walnuts; sprinkle all ingredients evenly over the graham cracker/butter base.
- Pour one can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top.
- Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool.
- Cut into bars or diamonds.
- Store covered at room temperature.
