  • 3 Fruit Marmalade

    Ingredients

    • 1 lrg Grapefruit
    • 1 lrg Orange
    • 1 lrg Lemon

    Directions

    1. Wash all fruit thoroughly, slice thin across sections include peel combine slices in an 8qt. pot and add in water @1.5 to 1 volume reduce by bringing to a boil then down to simmer and cover...aprox. 2 hours. remove and add in equal amount of sugar @ 1 to 1 volume. return to heat and bring rapidly to a boil and continue till thickened...this will scorch if it is not constantly stirred. Should you have a problem getting this to thicken you may choose to remove from heat and add in 1 pkg. of sure jel or possibly 2 Packages of knox gelatin. Pour immediately into prepared pint jars and seal ( aprox. 6 jars) invert and let stand for 5 min. check seal by applying pressure to center of lids, they should be tightly pressurized and not depress when pressed.
