3 cheese baked gnocchi mac and cheese
a creamy delicious mac and cheese with a twist Ingredients
- 1 lb gnocchi
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp. flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
- 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese divided
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
Directions
- preheat oven to 375
- cook gnocchi according to package
- melt butter in a medium skillet with garlic and onion powder
- add flour and whisk till bubbley
- add milk salt and pepper and stir until thick
- add cheddar mozzarella and 1/3 cup of parm cheese to skillet remove from heat wisk until blended
- drain and transfer gnocchi to a 9x13 casserole dish
- spread chopped spinach over gnocchi
- pour cheese mixture over gnocchi and lightly stir together
- top with remaining parm cheese and bread crumbs
- bake for 20 minutes
