  • 3 cheese baked gnocchi mac and cheese

    a creamy delicious mac and cheese with a twist

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb gnocchi
    • 3 tbsp. butter
    • 1 1/2 tbsp. flour
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
    • 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese divided
    • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 1/2 tsp onion powder
    • 1/4 tsp sea salt
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper
    • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach

    Directions

    1. preheat oven to 375
    2. cook gnocchi according to package
    3. melt butter in a medium skillet with garlic and onion powder
    4. add flour and whisk till bubbley
    5. add milk salt and pepper and stir until thick
    6. add cheddar mozzarella and 1/3 cup of parm cheese to skillet remove from heat wisk until blended
    7. drain and transfer gnocchi to a 9x13 casserole dish
    8. spread chopped spinach over gnocchi
    9. pour cheese mixture over gnocchi and lightly stir together
    10. top with remaining parm cheese and bread crumbs
    11. bake for 20 minutes
