Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound chuck steak
  • 2 sm. onions, minced
  • 1 (46 ounce.) can V-8
  • 5 celery, minced
  • 6 carrots, minced
  • 3 lg. tomatoes, peeled, cut
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 3/4 c. barley
  • Basil
  • Sugar
  • Pepper
  • Garlic pwdr
  • Bay leaf

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients and simmer 8 to 10 hrs on low crock pot or possibly 4 hrs on high crock pot.
