Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs (beaten 1 at a time)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup Dutch-process cocoa
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3.5 oz.) instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup powder sugar
  • 1/3 cup 2% milk
  • 1 cup dark chocolate m & m's
  • 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
  • 2 tsp. Dutch-process cocoa

Directions

  1. Brownies: Beat margarine, butter, flour, eggs, vanilla extract, salt and Dutch-process cocoa together.
  2. Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. Filling: Beat cream cheese, dry pudding mix, sugar, milk and m & m's until mixed.
  5. Spread over the brownies
  6. Topping: Mix cool whip and Dutch-process cocoa.
  7. Spread over the filling layer.
  8. Decorate.
