Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. beef stew meat
  • 4 carrots, peeled and cut bite size
  • 2 stalks celery, cut bite size
  • 4 med. potatoes, peeled and cut bite size
  • 1 (28 ounce.) can whole, undrained tomatoes
  • 1 (10 ounce.) can beef broth
  • 2 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Brown beef in slow cooker over medium heat. Add in remaining ingredients, stirring to blend. Cover and slow cook on low for 8 hrs or possibly on medium for 4 to 5 hrs.
