Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp rice wine
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 lb asparagus (12-16 medium thick)
  • 2 Tbsp whited (hulled) sesame seed

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Lightly oil a larger shallow roasting or half-sheet pan.
  3. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the pan.
  4. Roast for ten minutes. Shake the pan, sprinkle with sesame seeds and toast for another 5 minutes until the asparagus is tender and lightly browned.
  5. Serve hot.
