Roasted Green Beans

Roasting caramelizes the green beans and brings out their natural sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. frozen green beans, thawed
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. In a large bowl, toss together oil and green beans.
  3. Spread beans in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
