Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cumin seeds
  • 2/3 cup black peppercorns
  • 5 Tablespoons black salt
  • 2 2/3 cups mint leaves ; dried
  • 3 teaspoons ajwain seeds
  • 2 teaspoons asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoon tartaric acid
  • 1 1/3 cups amchoor powder
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 4 tablespoons ginger ground
  • 4 tablespoons yellow chili powder

Directions

  1. Set aside amchoor, salt, ground ginger and yellow chili powder.
  2. Grind the remaining ingredients to a fine powder then transfer to a bowl.
  3. Add amchoor, salt, ground ginger and yellow chili powder mixing well.
  4. Sieve and store in a sterilized airtight container.
