Orange Pasilla Chili Pork Loin

Mild heat, Smokey flavor & the orange make this really good. I have been slowly introducing more heat & spice to my kids. All 3 gobbled this up & my oldest & youngest had seconds.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb pork loin, silverskin removed
  • 2 oranges
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Padilla chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400
  2. Zest and juice oranges. Mix oil, garlic, orange zest & juice and chili powder together.
  3. Place pork & marinade into large ziplock bag. Squeeze out air & seal.
  4. Marinate pork 4-24 hours. I marinated for 8 hours.
  5. Cook on broiler pan at 400 for 30-40 minutes depending on loin thicknenss & desired fondness. Mine were 2 small thin loins so I cooked for 30 minutes & they were perfect with a little pink in the middle & so juicy.
