Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/3 c. molasses
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  •     (you can halve this amount with good results)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp caraway seed
  • 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/3 c. rye flour
  • 1 1/4 c. bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp yeast

Directions

  1. I have made this bread no less than a gazillion times and it is absolutely perfect. I think the molasses is what gives it the good flavor. [Jessica]
