Ingredients

  • 12 ounce Lean chopped beef
  • 1 Tbsp. Tomato puree Freshly grnd black pepper pn Grated nutmeg pn Dry thyme
  • 1 lrg Egg
  • 1 sm Onion minced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 x Large eggs hard boiled

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees C, or possibly 375 degrees F, gas mark 5.
  2. Mix all ingredients except hard boiled Large eggs together. Shape into a flat rectangle and place the hard boiled Large eggs down the centre. Roll the meat mix around the Large eggs using fingers. Place in a small loaf tin.
  3. Cover with foil and cook for 45 to 55 min. Remove foil and cook for a further ten min to brown the top.
  4. Serve warm or possibly cool.
