Ingredients

  • 1 1/2-lb. loaf
  • 1/2 c. old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 1/2 c. bread whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 c. bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp bread machine yeast

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in bread pan according to manufacturer's directions, select wheat setting, light crust, and press start.
  2. After cycle ends, remove bread to a cooling rack. Cold 1 hour before slicing.
