Grilled Tuna With Wasabi Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 x one-inch-thick tuna steaks Vegetable oil for brushing tuna
  • 1 x salt and pepper for season
  • 2 x thinly sliced scallions
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh coriander - (5ml)
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice - (30ml)
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce - (45ml)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. wasabi paste - (22.5ml)
  • 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter - (90ml)

Directions

  1. Season tuna with salt and pepper and brush with oil, place on hot grill and cook for 3 to 4 min, per side or possibly till tuna is cooked through.
  2. Combine scallion, coriander, lime juice, soy and wasabi paste to a sauce pan and bring to a boil and then remove from heat and whisk in butter.
  3. Plate tuna pcs on to separate serving plates and spoon sauce over each piece.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
