Green Beans With Mushroom Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Green beans
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt pn Baking soda Warm water
  • 2 ounce Butter
  • 4 ounce Mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. Cream Salt and pepper to taste Minced parsley

Directions

  1. Wash, string and slice beans. Place them in a saucepan together with sugar, salt, soda and sufficient water to cover. Simmer gently for about 15 min.
  2. Drain. In a saucepan heat the butter and in it saute/fry the sliced mushrooms.
  3. Add in the beans and gently blend in the cream. Simmer for 2 min. Season to taste and serve garnished with minced parsley.
