Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons dry garlic-and-herb salad dressing mix (in the dip mix and salad dressing aisle)
  • Four 1-inch cubes sharp cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
  • 4 hamburger buns

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, use a fork to lightly combine hamburger and salad dressing mix.
  2. Shape the mixture into 4 1-inch thick patties. Press a cheese cube into the center of four of the patties, covering the cheese back over with meat.
  3. Grill patties, covered over medium-hot heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until meat thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear.
  4. Serve the cheese-stuffed burgers in buns with lettuce, tomato, and your choice of condiments.
