Ingredients

  • 7 cups milk, non-fat dried
  • 6 pounds sugar
  • 100 cups eggs
  • 9 quart water
  • 800 slices bread
  • 1 gal vegetable shortening
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons salt
  • 5 gal syrup, pancake

Directions

  1. Combine nonfat dry milk, salt and sugar; blend well.
  2. Add dry ingredients to eggs; whip.
  3. Add water and mix well.
  4. Dip bread in egg mixture to coat both sides.
  5. Place on well greased griddle; fry on one side until golden brown.
  6. Turn; fry on other side until golden brown.
