Crab Dip with Bacon and Fontina Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat
  • 1 pound cooked and chopped bacon
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon tobasco sauce
  • ½ cup fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped water chestnuts
  • 1 cup shredded fontina cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped Italian parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Place the cream cheese, heavy cream, and mayonnaise in a bowl and blend until the mixture is soft. Add the remaining ingredients and mix on low speed until all of the ingredients are incorporated.
  2. Place the dip in a greased ovenproof crock. Top with the seasoned panko breadcrumbs and bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees until the top becomes brown, and the mixture boils around the edges.
  3. Serve with toast points or crackers.
