Coco's Firecracker Chicken

Sauteed chicken that is a quick, easy, and delicious entree to add to any meal!

Wine and Drink Pairings: sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, riesling

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (EVO)
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine
  • Dash of Lowry's steak seasoning
  • Dash of salt & pepper
  • Dash hot sauce (such as Louisiana or Tapatio)
  • TINY Dash of Sriracha Chinese hot sauce
  • 1/4 Cup of sliced onions
  • 1/4 Cup of sliced bell peppers

Directions

  1. Defrost chicken
  2. Slice chicken into pieces (about 3" long and 1.5" wide)
  3. Heat butter and oil in a medium sized skillet on Med. High heat
  4. Toss in sliced chicken
  5. Toss in all seasonings
  6. Toss in onions, peppers, and garlic
  7. Saute until done - no pink inside, just white
  8. If desired, curmbled bacon can be added in with the onions & garlic
