Clams with Ginger Soup

I like this clam recipe to taste a strong gingery taste. It is soothing to the throat and minty in the mouth.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo clams
  • 2 thumb size of ginger (crushed)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • canola oil
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a wok.
  2. Saute garlic then add ginger, and onion. Stir fry.
  3. Add clams and water then cover. Let it simmer for 8-10mins.
  4. Serve hot in a bowl.
