Caramel Popcorn With Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 7 quart Popped popcorn
  • 2 quart Peanuts
  • 1 box box brown sugar
  • 2 stk butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. Light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp (heaping) baking soda

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, syrup, butter & salt in saucepan & bring to a boil. Boil for 5 min. Remove from heat & add in vanilla & soda. Stir well. Pour over corn & stir to coat. Sprinkle peanuts over corn & bake at 250 for 1 hour. Stir twice. Remove from oven & pour onto waxed paper. Separate kernels.
