Ingredients

  • 2 c. Reduced-fat Lowfat sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Reduced Fat Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 c. Minced Fresh Dill Salt and Freshly Grnd Black Pepper
  • 6 lrg Chicken Thighs *or possibly 12 small

Directions

  1. Preheat the broiler or possibly prepare a charcoal grill and allow the coals to burn down to a gray ash. Oil the broiling pan or possibly grill to prevent sticking.
  2. Combine the lowfat sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and dill in a large bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside while preparing the thighs. (The sauce can be made up to 2 days in advance. Keep covered in the refrigerator till 30 min before serving).
  3. Place the thighs skin side toward the heat on a broiling pan or possibly charcoal grill. Cook about 6 inches from the source of heat, turning once, till the skin is lightly browned and the flesh nearest the bone shows no sign of pink when tested with a fork, about 30 min.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the sauce over the thighs while still warm. Serve the remaining sauce on the side.
  5. Serves 6.
