Barbecued Chicken And Corn Bread Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. Boiling water
  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 stalk celery, minced
  • 3 c. Pepperidge Farm Corn Bread Stuffing, * see note
  • 4 x Skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 c. Barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. Mix water, margarine, paprika and celery. Add in stuffing. Mix lightly.
  2. Spoon into 2 quart. shallow baking dish. Arrange chicken over stuffing. Spoon barbecue sauce over chicken.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees fro 35 min or possibly till chicken is done. Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if you like.
  4. note-You can also use one package of Pepperidge Farm Honey Pecan corn bread top of stove stuffing mix instead. Mix vegetable/seasoning packet with water, margarine, paprika and celery.
