Baked Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 Head Cabbage
  • 2 Leeks (or 2 Bunches of green onions maybe used if Leeks are not available)
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Lime Juice (to taste)
  • 1 stick of butter (cut into pats)

Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees F
  2. Spray a 10 x 15 1 inch deep baking pan with cooking spray
  3. Clean the tough outer leaves off the head of cabbage and cut out the core
  4. Slice the cabbage into 1/2 inch thick slices, lay on the prepared baking sheet
  5. Slice the leeks/green onions lengthwise put on top of the cabbage slices
  6. Sprinkle cabbage and leeks/onions with olive oil, salt and pepper, and lime juice.
  7. Place 1 pat of butter on top of each cabbage slice
  8. Place baking sheet in oven for 25 minutes
