Ingredients

  • 1 ounce butter
  • 2 ounce streaky rashers de rinded and minced
  • 1 lrg onion minced
  • 4 ounce yellow split peas washed
  • 1 lt bacon or possibly chicken stock black pepper fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Heat butter and light fry bacon and onion till soft.
  2. Add in split peas and stock.
  3. Cover and simmer for ninety min or possibly pressure cook at high pressure for eleven min.
  4. Blend soup in liquidiser and season to taste.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
