Bacon And Split Pea Soup
Ingredients
- 1 ounce butter
- 2 ounce streaky rashers de rinded and minced
- 1 lrg onion minced
- 4 ounce yellow split peas washed
- 1 lt bacon or possibly chicken stock black pepper fresh parsley
Directions
- Heat butter and light fry bacon and onion till soft.
- Add in split peas and stock.
- Cover and simmer for ninety min or possibly pressure cook at high pressure for eleven min.
- Blend soup in liquidiser and season to taste.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
