Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef flank or possibly round steak
  • 2 Tbsp. Corn oil
  • 1/4 c. Slivered orange peel
  • 1 cl Chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. Corn starch
  • 1 c. Cold beef broth
  • 1/4 c. Soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. Dry sherry
  • 1/4 c. Orange marmalade
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed dry red pepper

Directions

  1. In Wok medium heat oil: Add in meat 1/3 at a time.Stir fry 3 min or possibly till browned. Return all beef to Wok. Add in: peel, garlic and ginger. Stir fry 1 minute. Stir together: corn starch, beef broth, soy sauce, sherry, marmalade and pepper. Stir into beef. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat. Boil 1 minute. Serve over rice.
