Apples & Cinnamon Croissant Bread Pudding

Delicious Bread Pudding for any meal time.

Ingredients

  • 3 large baked (store bought) Croissants, cubed
  • 3 Large Eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 apples peeled, cored, sliced on a mandoline
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • A few pinches nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Optional chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Pre Heat Oven 350 F
  2. Using an oval or round baking dish spray with your favorite cooking spray (I use Bakers Joy)
  3. In a mixing bowl add cubed croissants, beaten eggs, cream, and stir with a sturdy spatula, add cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, vanilla extract and stir again, transfer into baking dish
  4. Add sliced apples in a fan pattern around the entire dish, add chopped pecans across the top
  5. Place into the oven on the middle rack bake for 24 minutes or until golden brown and apples are tender
  6. Serve with Frozen Vanilla Yogurt, Ice Cream or Whipped Cream, if desired
