Zucchini Split Pea Soup

- 1 1/2 cups yellow split peas soaked overnight
- 1 onion
- 2-3 zucchini
- 4-5 cups stock
- 1/2 ground turmeric
- ~ 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Heat the oil and cook the onion.
- Add the diced zucchini and cook for further 2-3 minutes.
- Add the peas, the stock and turmeric to the pan and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer until the split peas are tender.
- Serve immediately to warm yourself up.
