Winter Salsa
Ingredients
- 1 28-oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 4-oz. can green chiles, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 2 tsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 cup of very loosely packed fresh chopped cilantro
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Put green chiles, garlic, onion, olive oil, vinegar, oregano and cilantro in the bowl of a food processor.
- Process.
- Add in about 1/4 cup of the crushed tomatoes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Process.
- Add to remaining crushed tomatoes in a bowl and mix.
- Serve with chips.
- Refrigerate when not using.
- Will keep several days.
