Tuna Salad
Prep: 10 min Servings: 2by Peter Brown100 recipes>Over the festive season I got bored with the regulatory food so searched the fridge and cupboards for some change,all I found was a tin of Tuna in brine so concocted a salad with what was available. It turned out good .All I accompanied it with was a fresh roll and butter Ingredients
- 1 75g tin Tuna in brine
- 3 Lettuce leaves
- 2 heaped Tbs finely chopped Tomato
- 2 heaped Tbs finely chopped red onion
- 2 heaped Tbs grated carrot
- 1 heaped Tbs green pepper
- 2 Tbs tangy Mayonaisse
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients except the Lettuce leaves.
- in a bowl lay the lettuce leaves
- spoon the Tuna mix onto the leaves.
- Chill for 10 mins
- Serve with fresh Roll and butter and a glass of dry white wine
