Thai Style Pork

The flavor in the marinade is really good. You almost don't need the peanut butter!

Ingredients

  • Boneless pork chops or roast (I had about 3 lbs)
  • 1/2 - 3/4 c teriyaki sauce (depending how much pork you use)
  • 3 T rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp red pepper flake
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • 1/4 c peanut butter

Directions

  1. Slice the pork into thin, even slices. Or if you prefer you can leave it whole.
  2. Mix teriyaki, vinegar, red pepper and garlic together.
  3. Marinate the pork for several hours in the fridge.
  4. Cook the pork thoroughly however you desire and depending if it's whole or sliced.
  5. Put the extra sauce into a pan and bring to a boil to make sure all the raw pork juices are cooked off.
  6. Add the cornstarch and water. Continue to simmer until the sauce thickens and is no longer milky.
  7. Stir in the peanut butter and add the pork to the sauce.
  8. Enjoy!
