Tea Sandwiches
Various Kinds... Ingredients
- 16 slices white bread
- Plain cream cheese
- 16 slices of ham, cut into 4 squares each
- OR
- 16 slices Pumpernickel
- Salmon cream cheese
- 3 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- OR
- 16 slices Rye
- Chive & Onion cream cheese
- 1 small cucumber, cut into 32 thin slices
- OR
- 16 slices whole wheat
- Garden Vegetable cream cheese
- 2 medium tomatoes, each cut into 8 thin slices
Directions
- Remove crusts from bread; discard. Spread 1 tub (8 oz.) Cream Cheese Spread evenly onto 8 of the bread slices. Add toppings. Cover with remaining bread slices to make 8 sandwiches. Cut each sandwich into quarters to serve.
- Tip: These sandwiches can be made up to 2 hours ahead. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- *4 pieces is one serving
