Tagliatelle With Smoked Ham And Creamy Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 6 x Cloves garlic, (6 to 8)
- 25 gm Butter, (1oz)
- 1 x 125 gram pac premium smoked ham, roughly minced
- 1 x 250 gram pac fresh tagliatelle
- 200 ml Double cream, (7fl ounce)
- Salt and freshly grnd pepper
- Parmesan cheese shavings
Directions
- Preheat oven to 200 C, 400 F, Gas Mark 6.
- Toss garlic cloves in oil and roast for 15 min or possibly till soft.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan and saute/fry the ham, adding in the garlic, by simply squeezing from their skins cook for 2-3 min.
- Cook tagliatelle as per pack instructions.
- Add in the cream to the ham and garlic mix and heat through for a further 3-4 min.
- Drain the pasta and combine with the sauce. Serve immediately with parmesan cheese shavings.
- NOTES : A traditional Italian style pasta dish.
