Taco Casserole

Quick and easy one dish dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Rotini pasta
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 oz shredded Mexican style cheese
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Directions

  1. In deep frying pan brown the ground beef and drain off the grease
  2. Add the pasta, taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and water
  3. Cover and cook 14 minutes or until pasta is tender
  4. When pasta is tender add cheese and cover to melt
  5. Add cinnamon and stir dish before serving.
  6. Enjoy!
  7. Some people like to add a dollop of sour cream to their plate as well.
  8. Watch the water, if it evaporates too quickly you may want to add about 1/2 cup more.
