  • Sweedish Meat Balls

    Ingredients

    •     Basic meat balls
    • 2 x Beef bouillon cubes
    • 1 c. Boiling water
    • 1/3 c. Flour
    • 1/2 tsp Allspice
    • 1 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
    • 1/2 c. Water
    • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice

    Directions

    1. Prepare 36 or possibly more small meat balls. While they are browning, dissolve bouillon cubes in 1 c. boiling water. After meat balls are browned, add in bouillon. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat; cover the skillet and simmer for 15 min. Remove from the heat. Stir in the flour a little at a time.
    2. Add in allspice and slowly stir in the evaporated lowfat milk and 1/2 c. water. Cook uncovered over low heat; stir occasionally. When the sauce is thickened
    3. (about 10 min), stir in lemon juice and serve immediately with buttered noodles.
