Stuffed Rib Rolls
An unusual way to serve ribs. Ingredients
- 4 slices hearty bread
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tbs poultry seasoning (or something similar)
- 2 tbs chopped parsley
- 1 tbs melted butter
- 1 diced red pepper
- 2 tbs milk
- salt & pepper to taste
- 4 4" pieces of pork ribs to roll
- 4 7" pieces of butcher's string
Directions
- Break the bread into little pieces for stuffing.
- Mix the other ingredients, except the pork with the bread pieces to make a stuffing.
- Lay out the pieces of rib sections so that the bone is horizontal to you and will be easy to roll into a cylinder.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Make a stuffing ball from 1/4 of the stuffing and place in the center of the rib sections.
- Roll up like a tube and secure with a piece of string.
- These can be baked in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes until done, or cooked on the grill in nice weather.
