Stuffed Pepper Soup
This was a soup I grew up with. It's simple and good--and the whole family will like it. Ingredients
- 4 large green peppers, chopped
- 1 (28 ounce) can of diced tomatoes
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup barley (regular)
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup instant rice
Directions
- Brown beef and onion.
- Put all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on high for 1 hour and 4 hours on low.
- Add rice 30 minutes before serving.
