Stuffed Green Bell Peppers
Ingredients
- 4 large green peppers
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef cooked in microwave, drain fat
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 Tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Tsp. Pepper
- 8 oz. Can tomato sauce
Directions
- Heat oven to 350â. Cut thin slice from stem end of each pepper. Remove all seeds and membranes. Wash inside and outside. Heat 1 cup water and ½ tsp salt to boiling. Add peppers; cook 5 minutes and drain.
- Mix remaining ingredients. Stuff each pepper with equal parts of the meat mixture. Stand peppers upright in ungreased loaf pan. Cover; bake 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer.
