Strawberry Sour Cream Pie

- 1 unbaked 9-inch (Deep) Pastry Pie Shell
- 1 Pint Fresh Strawberries (or other fruit)
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 & 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar (reserved)
Directions
- Prepare Fruit (wash, remove stems/peelings, etc. Quarter or slice fruit so it is bite-size. Sprinkle peaches or strawberries with sugar, preferably the night before).
- Preheat Oven to 450 degrees.
- Drain Fruit & place in bottom of unbaked Pie Shell.
- Sift Flour, Sugar, and Salt together in a med. bowl. Add sour cream and stir well.
- Spread over fruit evenly.
- Sprinkle with reserved sugar.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 450.
- Then reduce heat to 350 degrees (don't remove pie, just lower temp) and Bake another 30 minutes or until crust is a gentle, golden brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Will be gooey.
