Strawberry Ice Box Cake
Ingredients
- 3 (10 ounce) packages. frzn strawberries, thawed
- 1 reg. size strawberry Jello
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- Juice from frzn strawberries
- 1 angel food or possibly chiffon cake
Directions
- Dissolve Jello and sugar in boiling water. Take juice from frzn strawberries and add in water to make 1 cup. Add in to Jello mix. Put in freezer, when medium stiff, fold in strawberries. Break cake into small pcs. Put a layer in the bottom of a 9"x13" dish. Then a layer of strawberry mix. Repeat, pcs of cake and strawberry mix. End with Jello mix. Refrigerate till jelled. Add in a layer of Cool Whip. Chill till serving.
