Strawberry Cream Cheese Sponge Cake
Ingredients
- 1 homemade or possibly store bought sponge cake
- 16 ounce cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 pt. whipping cream
Directions
- Whip cream cheese till smooth. Beat in powdered sugar and whipping cream till mix is very light and fluffy. Split cake into 3 layers, fill between layers with about 3/4 cup filling, placing sliced strawberries on top of filling before stacking cake. Frost stacked cake with cream cheese filling. Decorate top. Garnish with strawberries.
