  • Spinach And Artichoke Party Dip

    Ingredients

    • 1 (16 ounce) carton lowfat sour cream
    • 1 (1 ounce) env. Hidden Valley Ranch party dip mix
    • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, rinsed, liquid removed and minced
    • 1 (10 ounce) pkg. frzn minced spinach, thawed and well liquid removed
    • 1 (2 ounce) jar diced pimentos, rinsed and liquid removed
    • 1 lg. (1 1/2 pound) round loaf bread, sourdough or possibly any variety
    • 1 lg. round loaf bread, cut in cubes for dipping
    • Assorted vegetables for dipping (optional)

    Directions

    1. Put together lowfat sour cream and party dip fold in medium bowl. Stir in artichokes, spinach and pimientos. Cut slice off top of round loaf of bread. Hollow out center of bread leaving a 1 inch shell. Reserve bread pcs for dipping. Spoon dip into bread shell. Serve warm or possibly cold. To serve warm, bake in 400 degree oven for 20-25 min. Cover loaf with foil if browning too quickly. Serve with bread cubes and or possibly assorted fresh vegetables. Serves about 12.
