Prepare enough coals for a medium-hot fire and arrange them on one side of the grill or set a gas grill to medium-high.

Place a large (9 Inch) cast iron, on the grill over the coals. Add the olive oil and onion; cook stirring often until the onion softens, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 1 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

Move the skillet to the side of the grill opposite the coals or decrease gas grill to medium-low. Cover the skillet and grill, cook for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve.

Preheat oven to 350° F; spray a 2-Quart casserole dish with non-stick spray.

Place beans, onions and sausage in casserole.

In a medium bowl add garlic, brown sugar, ketchup, mustards, chili powder, cumin and Jack Daniels; stir well to combine.
4.
Pour whiskey mixture over beans; stir gently to combine.
5.
Cover and bake in 350°F oven for 45 minutes, stirring half way through.

If desired, Southern Comfort and Korbel Brandy can be substituted for Whiskey.

Feel free to add some bell pepper, celery or hot peppers.
