Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pound grnd chuck (20% fat!)
  • 4 tbsp. lowfat sour cream
  • 6 teaspoon onion, minced very fine or possibly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd pepper
  • 4 English muffins
  • Unsalted butter

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the grnd beef, lowfat sour cream, onion, salt and pepper. Mix with a fork, without mashing or possibly compacting the meat! Preheat a skillet over moderate heat.
  2. GENTLY form the mix into 4 patties, and place in the skillet. Cook 3 min, turn, cook 3 more min for medium rare, or possibly to taste. Serve on toasted and buttered English muffins. Serves 4.
