Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light molasses
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Large eggs, beaten
  • 5-6 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Bring shortening, sugar, molasses, and vinegar to a boil. Cold. Add in Large eggs and dry ingredients. Chill. Roll out to 1/4 inch, cut and place on greased cookie sheet. bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min. Don't over bake.
