smoky refried beans
Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 1 15 oz can drained and rinsed pinto beans
- t Tbls cilantro
Directions
- Cook bacon and set aside reserving drippings
- and onion and garlic to drippings and cook 5 minutes until tender
- stir in chicken broth and pinto beans
- mash with a potato masher until desired consistency
- cook until heated stirring occassionaly
- sprinkle with bacon and fresh cilantro
